On Site Assessment
Streamlining Life will spend up to an hour on site with you to evaluate the current situation and desired goals. Typically there are lots of questions, ideas, tips, and suggestions. The scope of work will be defined and estimated. This as a fee based assessment, as there will be enough information provided you could get organized on your own.
Organizing Services
After the plan has been developed Streamlining Life will assist with sorting, purging, space planning, and containerizing. Because only the client can decide what is truly important—typically the client would be onsite during the sorting and purging process.
FAQS
Do you provide free consultations?
Yes, the initial phone consultation is free. During this 15-30 minute phone call there will be questions from both sides—to understand your space, your situation, your goals, and your questions.
What’s after the consultation?
After the consultation, we can schedule an on-site assessment for up to an hour. The assessment includes a tour of the space, lots of questions, ideas, tips, and suggestions. This fee based assessment will provide you with enough information you could organize your space on your own.
How do I book a session?
Contact Streamlining Life to schedule a session. 50% deposit required. Cash or check accepted.
Will I be able to use my existing organizing products and furniture?
Yes. We will always work with what you have. Additional products may be recommended depending on what is on hand, and how you want the space to function. Please don’t buy anything until the project is underway and specific products are identified and suggested.
Can you organize my home in 24 hours like the shows on TV?
Unfortunately not. Amazing how those shows can make getting organized look so easy! They actually have teams of people to declutter—and still take approximately 80 to 120 hours to complete.
Do I have to clean my home before you come over?
Absolutely NOT! Seeing the space in its current condition allows Streamlining Life to see how it functions (or not) and how best to create a custom solution.
What happens to the items I choose to let go?
Typically damaged items will go in the garbage, useable items can be donated to your favorite charity, or Streamlining Life can remove them from the premises with a courtesy Goodwill drop off. More valuable items can be consigned, sold at a garage sale, Craigslist, Freecycle, etc. Streamlining Life can help with any of these options for a fee.
Do you provide on-going maintenance? Absolutely! Our goal is to help you achieve organization, and many times this is not accomplished in a day. It can take weeks or months for some—or others may prefer quarterly follow up for system analysis and improvement. Maintenance packages are available.
What is NAPO? .
The premier association dedicated to organizing: the National Association of Professional Organizers.

‘Based on the interviews and observing how the problems cluttered my house, a system was designed that works for me. I no longer have piles of paper on the kitchen counters, covering the dining table or scattered all over my car.’
